Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Is my gift to JFA tax-deductible?

A. Yes, to the fullest extent allowed by law.  Justice For All, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization.  To be certain of the tax consequence for any and all gifts you should consult the IRS and/or a licensed accountant or attorney.

Q. May I designate my gift to a particular event, project, or Staff Member's Support?

A. Yes. We endeavor to honor all designation requests.  In the event that a particular designation is either fully funded or no longer applicable we will alert you to that fact and either request that you make an alternate designation or offer to return your gift.

Q. What Are the different designations to which I may give and what are JFA's Funding Goals?  Is there any place where JFA describes the "why" and "how" of each of its projects so I can decide how I want to designate my gift?

A. See our "Invest in JFA" page.  It answers all of these questions and more.

Q. Will I receive a receipt for my gift?

A. Yes, possibly two receipts.  You will receive an immediate email receipt if you make a credit or debit card donation online.  All gifts, whether given online, by mail, or by bank draft, will receive a written receipt by US mail shortly after the 21st of each month.  Should you not receive a receipt or need a replacement receipt, simply contact Eva by phone (316.683.6426) or by email (donate@jfaweb.org).

Q. May I obtain an annual report of my giving to JFA?

A. Yes. Simply contact Eva by phone (316.683.6426) or by email (donate@jfaweb.org) to request an annual summary of your gifts to JFA.

Q. Will my donation ALWAYS go to the designation I select?

A. Normally, yes.  Should a particular designation be fully funded or no longer be applicable, we will contact you to alert you to that fact, and we will request an alternative designation, request to use your gift where the greatest need exists, or offer to return your gift.

Q. What’s the easiest way to give to JFA?
